The weirdest thing happen to me the other day (2015). I was reading and came across the words, “body let go” in which I felt an immediate relief & relaxation upon reading that very sentence. I didn’t even realize that I was the tensed up prior to.
This was an eye opener for me because I realized that I could command my body to relax prior to any spiritual exercise.
You can train your subconscious mind to do this for you. Tune into your body, say the words out loud and imagine you can see all, that doesn’t serve you, being released; see it as a color. Tune into what it would feel like if you felt lighter. Practice this technique daily a few times a day. You’ll become so good at it that your body will listen to the command upon saying it. Most things take practice.
When you’ve become pretty good at it give it a followup up command like, “peace.” Be sure it’s something that is practical to ‘you’ so that your mind can easily accept it.
Body let go, be at peace.
