Empaths are energy readers (clairsentients), part of the psychic spectrum that includes:
Earth empaths (sensing weather/natural disasters)
Animal empaths (connecting with creatures)
Emotional empaths (feeling others’ emotions)
Collective empaths (tuning into global energy)
Ancient Insight: Tibetan mystics called this “khog phub” (open vessel), while Taoists reference it as “water mind”—the ability to reflect energies without absorbing them.
1. Emotional Alchemy
Challenge: Empaths often experience:
Sudden mood shifts (funks → depression)
“Emotional hangovers” from energy exposure
Loneliness from one-sided connections
Solutions:

How The Collective Hijacks Empaths:
Global Fear Wave (e.g., pandemic anxiety another example is social media fear mongering) hits your field
Your body misreads it as your emergency
The brain retroactively links it to past trauma → “I’m anxious because of X” or current worries / issues
When the weight hits🌀, pause. Ask: Is this mine, or energy echoing from collective chaos / stagnant spaces / spiritual shifts?

Empaths sense global shifts. During crises:
Observe without absorbing (Buddhist “witness consciousness”)
Use frankincense resin (burned since ancient Egypt to clear energy). I haven’t used it in years. Just know a simple shower or bath with the intent to cleanse, paired with visualization, is just as powerful. Combine intent + faith (even a sliver) with any action, and it’ll move energy.

Energy vampirism drains your emotional/spiritual reserves via people, places, or situations—intentional or not. It leaves you exhausted, creating anxiety, restlessness, or that ‘why am I so drained?’ confusion— I can get worse if this was over a period of time. 💀🔋 Fix? Cleanse, rest, hydrate. It happens when you’re laser-focused on someone/something, absorbing their projected energy.
3. Lack of Sleep & Water
Sleep and water are essential for empaths. I can’t say this enough!
Rest resets your energy field.
Water is the ultimate energetic filter. It dissolves stagnant energy clinging to your field. Shamans believe it’s a bridge between realms—carrying prayers, cleansing ancestral ties, and grounding chaotic vibes. Water regulates emotional flow.
Dehydration = clogged intuition, muddied boundaries, and amplified overwhelm.
Dehydration or exhaustion amplifies emotional weight.
I don’t know why this is, but the lack of sleep creates anxiety or triggers the blues. Prioritize both rest and water to stay grounded.

The three most important practices for empaths and highly sensitive people are:
- Awareness – Cultivating self-awareness to distinguish personal emotions from those absorbed from others.

I don’t do the… ribbons of light, thing—it’s about evicting energetic squatters from your space.

Command aloud: “All foreign energy—leave now. My space is mine” or ” I disconnect from (name, situation, place…) Or say what feels right to you.
Old School…
Visualize a cord from you to the negativity (situation / thing) or person(s) & it’s being disconnected: turning to ashes, burning into flames or just denigrating into thin air. You can also do the, Command aloud up top.
Why It Works:
It’s an eviction — kickin’um out (it’s a disconnecting)
Clears blocks to manifestation
Stops you from unknowingly healing others
Protects your “magic” (prayers/spells work faster in a clean field)
The Nighttime Drain:
Your partner’s stress → Your gift “cleans” them overnight → You wake exhausted.
Protect Your Sleep:

Prayer: “Lord watch over me as I sleep.” or “Archangel Michael, shield me from all energy transfers tonight.” Or say what feels right to you.
