Soul Mates: Soul Magnets—We Find Each Other

Itty-bitty Small Kine History & Origins

  • The term “soulmate” traces back to Uncle Plato’s Symposium (His hang-out spot, c. 385 BC).
  • Aristophanes claimed humans were split in two by Zeus – destined to seek their “other half.”
  • Not romantic originally: In ancient Greece, soulmates could be friends, mentors, partners, or your Uber driver🚙 😉.

Cultural & Spiritual Beliefs

  • ☑️ Hinduism/Buddhism: Soul ties span lifetimes (karmic bonds), meant for growth, not romance. Yah-huh, I feel this.
  • ☑️ Indigenous views: Soul families – ancestors and spirits – guide us, not “one perfect person.” Yup, this is on the agree list too.
  • Modern Wowers: Twin flames, “divine counterparts”… often over-glamorized.
  • ☑️ Michael Teachings:
    • Souls reincarnate in groups (“cadres”) across lifetimes.
    • You have dozens of “essence bonds” (not one “soulmate”).
    • These bonds are growth contracts: Some souls agree to play tough roles (ex: the ‘aaaaazing’ 🤢ex, the strict parent) to teach you lessons.

Something Smells Funny…

When I started doing readings, everyone pushed the ‘one soulmate’ idea. Clients, shops, even other readers. One person rose to local fame overnight solely off soulmates and twin flames. Literally. She’d done totally different content before, had a few readings with friends of mine… then suddenly became an ‘expert.’ Many of her clients came to me and others I know – heartbroken, but still going back because they wanted it to be true. Side note: I used to be pissed at thi! I thought, ‘You’re so evil!’ But later I realized: even ‘readers’ like that serve a soul’s purpose on their journey – even mine.

I’ve joked with clients: ‘I doubt God’s playing Easter egg hunt with our ‘one.’ Later, it became: ‘Our souls aren’t hiding halves under rocks.’ We’d laugh… but it still didn’t feel good telling someone the person they’re with isn’t their romance novel hero😞. I always say, ‘Yes, there’s a soul connection – but struggling doesn’t mean you’ve failed some ‘soulmate’ test.’ Delivering that to a tender heart— That’s the hardest part.

What I Do Believe In:
✅ Soul Connections

  • Multiple people align with you at the right time, depending on your vibe (mindset, energy).
  • They’re here to help you grow – not complete you.
  • Some stay for life; others pop in, drop a lesson, and bounce.
  • Michael Teachings twist: These are “essence bonds” – planned by your soul group before birth. I discovered this later in my reading journey. Not a follower, just sharing resources. Learn more: michaelteachings.com

✅ How to Know It’s a Soul Connection

(Hint: They’re not under a rock😊)

  1. Instant Vibe
That comfort — not bond — like bickering with a sibling but knowing you’re safe. No performance. Just real.
  2. Familiarity Without Memory
You don’t know why you recognize them… but you do. Like deja vu for the soul.
  3. Mirrors, Not Fixers
They reflect your journey (flaws, growth, weirdness) — not swoop in to “complete” you.
  4. Easy Re-Entry
Pick up like no time passed — even after years. No awkwardness. Just flow.
  5. Growth > Warmth
They challenge you. Trigger you. Teach you. Not always “good vibes only.”

Michael Teachings call this your “cadre” — souls you’ve journeyed with for lifetimes.
Trust me, I’m saving you a shhhht-load of reading 😉 but if you got time… website below.

Spiritual Growth— Ps Still Learning

  • Romance isn’t the point: It is wonderful. Soul connections can turn romantic, but that’s not their purpose.
  • We’re here to learn: Earth is tough. We’re “doing time” in human form to grow. To my core, I know Creator wouldn’t hide our “one” – we’re too distractible! We’d be picking our noses, staring at clouds, totally missing them. No fair.
  • Trauma bonds ≠ soulmates: I’ve seen clients shattered because some “reader” sold them a lie. “Those b!tches weren’t honest with you.”
  • Michael Teachings agree: True bonds foster growth, not suffering. If it breaks you, it’s not “divine.” — Again, I’m just referencing, not follower, I love knowledge.

🚩 Red Flags in the Soulmate Industry

⚠️ Anyone charging $$$ to “find your twin flame / Soul Mate.”
⚠️ Readings promising “He/She’s The Soulmate” 😂 but ‘forgot’ to mention the hiccups, trauma, or giant-ass caution signs. Do a vibe check! That’s what we’re here for.
⚠️ ‘He’s/She’s your soulmate’… 😂 after you choked us out for that answer.
Congrats. You paid $200 for a hostage negotiation.
⚠️ Spiritualizing toxicity by blaming “karmic lessons” — without honoring your choice to leave.

(Note: I say “karmic lessons” too — when someone CHOOSES to grow through a relationship. But calling abuse “karma”? Hard No. That’s just enabling. 😤 )

The Takeaway
Soul connections are Beautiful. They’re real – not a fairy tale, and definitely not limited to one person. Honor bonds that help you grow, romantic or not.
P.S. Your soul family’s already with you. You’re just recognizing them.
